Electric performance with Mazda driving character

First unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, the all-new Mazda CX-6e combines Mazda's approach to design and driving enjoyment with a new-generation electric powertrain.

A 78kWh Lithium-Ion Phosphate battery supplies power to a rear-mounted electric motor producing 258PS and 290Nm of torque.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a single-speed transmission, supporting the responsive and linear driving characteristics expected of a Mazda.

Rapid electric charging

A maximum 200kW DC charging rate means a 10–80% charge can be completed in approximately 24 minutes under suitable charging conditions.

The onboard charger also supports 11kW three-phase AC charging using a Type 2 connector, providing convenient charging options at home, work and public charging locations.

A new-generation Mazda interior

Inside, the CX-6e introduces one of Mazda's most technology-focused cabins to date. At its centre is a sweeping 26.45-inch touchscreen with a customisable dual-split display.

Three distinctive interior colour combinations will be available. Takumi models can be specified with Stone or Black Maztex, while the Takumi Plus introduces a two-tone Amethyst and White Maztex finish.

Maztex is Mazda's vegan alternative to leather and has been designed to combine durability, ease of cleaning and passenger comfort.

Takumi models feature 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 21-inch wheels available as an upgrade.

The flagship Takumi Plus receives 21-inch alloy wheels as standard alongside additional premium equipment.

Kodo design enters Mazda's electric future

The CX-6e evolves Mazda's established Kodo – Soul of Motion design philosophy for a new generation of electric vehicles.

Mazda describes the design theme as "Soulful Futuristic Modern", combining sculptural surfaces with the functional requirements of a modern electric SUV.

The new Nightfall Violet hero colour has been created to highlight the CX-6e's sculpted bodywork, changing visually between a deep purple tone and near-black depending on the surrounding light.

Expanding Mazda's electric car range

The CX-6e joins the Mazda6e as Mazda continues to expand its battery-electric vehicle range in the UK.

Inspired by the Japanese concept of Ma – the beauty of empty space – the CX-6e cabin has been designed to provide generous headroom, legroom and shoulder room for occupants while maintaining its sleek exterior proportions.
