Job description:
We are looking for a friendly, organised and confident Outbound Receptionist to join our busy team within the motor trade.
This is a customer-focused role involving regular telephone contact with existing customers. You will be responsible for making outbound calls, arranging appointments and ensuring customers receive a professional and welcoming experience from their first point of contact.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Making outbound calls to existing customers regarding annual servicing and MOTs
- Contacting customers to arrange and confirm appointments
- Following up enquiries and previous customer visits
- Calling customers regarding servicing, MOTs and vehicle maintenance requirements
- Managing and updating customer information on our systems
- Booking customers into the workshop and coordinating appointments
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries when required
- Providing a friendly, professional first point of contact for customers
- Maintaining accurate records of all customer communications
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
About you:
- Has an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
- Is confident speaking to customers over the phone
- Is friendly, approachable and professional
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Has good attention to detail
- Is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and motivated
Previous experience in the motor trade, reception, customer service, telesales or a similar telephone-based role would be preferred but is not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
