IMPROVED FUEL ECONOMY
All Skyactiv petrol engines with manual transmission are equipped with new Mazda M Hybrid* technology, which uses a small Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) to capture energy normally lost during braking. That energy is stored and used to power the car’s electrical systems, reducing the load on the engine and saving fuel. *Mazda M Hybrid is available on manual models only.
REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING
Key fob provides remote central locking with deadlocks for security, as well as keyless engine start / stop.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM
Designed to warn the driver if the vehicle inadvertently strays from its lane. A front-view camera monitors the road ahead and calculates the car’s position relative to lane markings. Should the system detect that the car is about to unintentionally move out of lane, it emits an audible warning sound to alert the driver (Not available on 75ps SE+ and 75ps SE-L+ models).
SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT
Mazda's Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) helps avoid or minimise the effects of low-speed collisions. The laser-based system continually monitors the gap and closing speed of the vehicle in front, automatically applying the brakes if a collision is likely at speeds up to approximately 20mph. (Not available on 75ps SE+ and 75ps SE-L+ models)
