Craig will be showing courage and strength to defeat cold lochs and brave high mountains!
On Saturday the 17th of September 2016, Craig Cobain our SDM Toyota Service Manager will be taking part in the Braveheart Triathlon. Craig will go through a gruelling 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle, and then a half marathon up and down Scotland's highest mountain - Ben Nevis.
All of Craig's hard work is in aid of the charity Maggie's Centres that provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. Whilst Craig's wife Gayle was undergoing cancer treatment over the last few years, Maggie's in Lanarkshire really helped Gayle on the road to recovery. Craig decided he wanted to give something back as a thank you for all their support. Craig tells us he has not ran for about 10 years so decided that he would like to push himself and do something outside his comfort zone, all in aid of a great cause.
Lets wish Craig the best of luck with the Braveheart Triathlon and we all hope he smashes his target of raising £500 for Maggie's Centres.
