With a wide range of exterior colours – there’s something to match your personality.
From the front
The eye-catching new main bumper flows smoothly into the wheel arch claddings, forming a unique wrap around armoured belt under the bold new grille.
From the side
The sporty silhouette is accentuated by the visual connection between the shoulder creases and the sharper, cleaner, more harmonious front end.
From the back
The new rear bumper follows the protective armour concept of the front and sides – and is highlighted by the robust new metallic-coloured skid plate.

Comprehensive peace of mind – Hyundai SmartSense™
Hyundai SmartSense is our cutting-edge driver assistance system, built to provide you with more safety. From braking to avoid collisions, to detecting vehicles in your blind spot, the Kona Hybrid is constantly monitoring your environment to protect you from potential hazards while driving.
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist recognition. Optional on SE and Premium and standard on Premium SE, the AEB system uses a front mounted camera and radar sensor to monitor the traffic ahead. If the system detects a potential collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist, it will warn the driver, automatically slowing or stopping the vehicle if required.
Lane Keep Assist (LKA) The standard Lane Keep Assist system uses the front camera to monitor the lines of the road. In the event of an unintended lane departure, it will first alert the driver and then apply counter-steering torque to get the car back on the correct course if necessary.
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) Optional on Premium and standard on Premium SE, the system informs the driver of vehicles in the blind spot and passing cars. It keeps the driver informed of cars that are following and potentially passing, but may be in a hard-to-see blind spot that can’t be easily viewed using the rear view mirror or wing mirrors. It informs drivers with a graphic in the wing mirror.
Smart Cruise Control (SCC) This optional system can make driving easier and safer. At speeds higher than 5 mph, the Kona Hybrid uses the front-mounted radar sensor to monitor vehicles ahead and automatically maintains a pre-set speed and safe distance to the vehicle in front, by regulating the throttle and applying the brakes when needed
